Hi, the race is fairly easy to install you can do it at home on your kitchen table. There is a nice manual on www.racegun.dk in the download section to give you an impression on how it works. The buttons are for switching on/off, setting the eye on/off, activation of the timer and life and safe mode. : Have you looked at Eclipses E-blade as well, $400 I beleive w/ antichop eye? Buttons on the back of race are for programming, also can be done with Palm or computer link. : Razor :
Regarding the eye you have to drill two holes into your body no matter if you choose RG or Planet. The eye wiring on the Planet looks better, but AFAIK it´s only awailable for CF not RF.
Sandridge is out of business but supposedly was taken over by some other company and if you want things repaired or upgraded you´ll have to send it in to have it done, for apparently there are so many F5 clones out there that they won´t just send parts out.
Hope this helps

: : ok i am at a toss up now between the racegun and the f-5. i havent heard anything good about intimidators so i will stick with the trusty ol cocker...i love mine. anyway...my biggest concerns are how easy is the race to install? ive heard that f-5 also lowers the pressure of your cocker. is this true and does this apply to the race? and what are those little buttons on the back of the race grip for?
: : any insight will help
: : thanks
