if u bought it from walmart it wont switch modes. to fix what the walmart person of questionable parentages did, in the grip of the gun between the battery and hte lights, you will see two vertical prongs, you have to get something to bridge the gap, you cant bend the prongs together however, find a wire or something to bridge it then your imagine will fire fully auto and three round burst !
