You didn't say and I way trying to talk you into to starting with nitro so you can avoid all those headaches. Only way to go.

Still, then you don't need a 'mini' expansion chamber except as a handle. I would put a real regulator there on a Compact or 2+1 rather than go
with the shutter reg. Add a LP valve and spring set. That would be a lot more performance than a stock shutter for about the same money.

I agree with the other post too. If you are going to invest over $350 in upgrades for your spyder, you should consider a cocker or other tournament level marker. New or used. There are LOTS of used cockers with all the goodies on them in the 350-500 mark. Others too.
