Flatline is good for distance not much else. It also tends to bounce paint not break it and if you break paint in it(which will happen a lot with cheap- most mid price paint). If you are in close quarters is even worse as the backspin it gives makes it hard to target close kills. Personally I have a cheap tru-flight and am very happy with it. Not as flashy looking as the 2 piece systems but is quiet and accurate. I sold my boomstick and kept this one as I liked it MUCH better.

: : I just bought a 98 Custom. I wanted to know if the flatline is a good investment. I can pick one up at my local store for $120. I didn't think that was too bad. Any comments??

: i dont know if u have just started plating or not but by the sounds od it it sounds like you just started playing. if that is the case then i would recomend you get a less expensive barrel just incase you dont like it. is that is your situation go wit the 32 degrees night stick for about $40
