Well it probably would not hit high at close range. The flatline is designed to put major backspin on the paintball so it keeps it in the air longer. I've heard that it will shoot your ball about 100 ft farther than usual. There is one downside though...the flatline gets so much backspin on the ball the ball might have trouble breaking on target.
