Anti Siphon or x chambers have one big benefit with the 98 and that is a consistent chrono reading. I know I used to get very frustrated when trying to chrono my gun in and the speed was jumping all over the place. You would adjust take some shots and it would vary by as much as 30-40 fps. You are then in a situation to have a gun that will be very inconsistent. I put on an x chamber and I only get a 7-12 variance which is acceptable to me. I have not done this with an anti siphon tank(much cheaper to have done) but have been told that it does the same thing.
: : I would like to upgrade my 98 custum but im not exactly made of $money$.

: : Any suggestions on what to get.
: : (please give me the price range too)
: : Thanks
: : Soach

: With a tippmann you dont need a anti-siphon or expansion chamber, they can handle liquid CO2 in the valve. So save your money on those.

: You could get a 47 ci / 3000psi HPA bottle (nitrogen is a much more consistant gas than CO2) for about $90.

: Some of the guys I play with have flatline barrels ($90) and they can nail you from the get go.

: A reactive trigger ($90) would also let you through out the paint, if thats what your after.

: Not trying to say the other guys ideas arent good but you really dont need the anti-siphon and expansion with a tippmann gun

: Peace
