@@@ What a Flatline barrell does do is shoot a ball about 80 feet futher than a standard barrel buy forcing a backspin on the ball. I have seen and shot several that were set up well, and while the distance is impressive, it has a major drawback.

Buy the time the paintball travels that far it has lost a great deal of it's velocity, so even though you may hit people farther away, there isn't much force behind the ball to break it on a target. Mostly bounces unless you hit the goggle. Not worth it in my opinion.

Get a Freak Jr to start, or if money is an issue, a JJ Ceramic, SmartParts Teardrop, or CP.
