14'' Dye Tippmann 98 Barrel - use with 98 Custom?

I just bought a 14'' Dye Tippmann 98 Sniper Paintball Barrel. Like this one:

I guess I wasn't aware that there was a difference between Model 98 and 98 Custom, let alone a threading difference. Is there an attachment for this barrel that will allow me to screw it into the 98 Custom or did I just basically screw up? They advertised it as "Tippmann 98" so I didn't even think it wouldn't work for the 98 Custom. Thanks in advance.
