Air system or Palmer Stabalizer?

I have a M98 Custom and am looking for more consistency from shot to shot. WHat works better, a Palmer Stabalizer for CO2 or an air system? The palmer stabalizer is a lot cheaper and from what i hear work fabulously, but it sounds to good to be true. Is it? WHich one is the better buy?
