: higher pressures tend to cause swerving at long range In my experience, 285 seems to be optimal. It gives the flat trajectory the Flatline is designed for. Drop below it, and the ball arcs more in flight - go above it, and it actually curves upward then arcs. Yes, the ball will drift more at distance - but you can shoot that distance with the flat trajectory, which you can't do at all at lower velocities. See you on the field,
