: : I'm thinking of purchasing a 98 Custom and I have a few questions. What is the barrell bore size? On my current marker, I have a CMI Thunderpig and usually use Proballs. Also, I mainly play woods games and am planning to venture into scenario games. Would the 98 be a wise choice? I like to play by myself and go my own way so the main thing I need is decent accuracy. How well will it shoot with the stock barrell? Could I hit someone's mask at 100-150
: If you buy a new 98c and want good acurracy, plan on buying a new barrel with it. I am not sure of the bore size, but I use ProBalls too and I have the stocks barrel (Not for long). Hope this helps good luck.
: If I were you I woul get the Flatline barrel. The way the barrel is designed it gives the ball a backspin which combined with the wind, gives it distance. If I would have had enough $$ I would have bought the Flatline barrel for my M98, but I only had enough to get the M98 with the Response trigger.
