If you don't believe me, try your own tests and you'll come to the same conclusion: That on a blowback paintball marker, you reach a point of diminishing returns around 400 psi, where going lower doesn't actually have much of any benefit, but makes your marker a gas hog. Most blowbacks need to operate around 300 to 400 psi at the least to be gas-efficient, and that is low enough to decrease ball breakage dramatically. It's just not worth spending more to go lower than that except to impress your friends.
