the main advantage of the reg is consistency and it also allows a person to run the gun on co2 if they want to without damaging effects to the selenoid but the main key is the outstanding consistency as i'm sure your aware of since your a cocker owner the reg is sortof cake to install but sortof not, considering the reg isn not designed for the gun you have to make an adapter block since i'm pretty sure nobody that i'm aware of makes them so if you have some machining background it would be cake to install...
