If you can find a local paintball shop with a knowledgable B2K airsmith, I would suggest that you negotiate the best price you can, using the online stores as a benchmark.ICD does sell the guns direct, but they frown on some of the customization you plan, so that if anything went wrong you would have to re-install the stock valve, HP reg and LP reg before they would honor the warrantee. Any aftermarket chip or eye would screw you as far as getting ICD to perform warrantee work for you.

Eventually, some guys learn a lot about these guns so they can do most all of the work on them themselves. Mostly by trial and error I have learned to do most anything mechanical on the B2K, and one of my teammates works in electronics, so he is good with the solenoid and board stuff.

In the meantime, having local support amy get you onto the field some weekend, instead of having your gun on the way to or from some remote location.
