Is it leaking air when you unscrew it? Well I think this is what it is. When you are unscrewing the pressure in the gun is pushing againsn't the bottle thus you have pressure on the threads making it harder to get off, I believe thats normal. Try dry firing the gun while unscrewing the tank to relieve pressure. hope this helps
