The Freak will fit like any other barrel would with the right threads, so if it has Bushmaster or ICD threads, which are the same, it will work, unless you have a Bushmaster threaded to autococker or a Defiant than you'd need autococker threads.

For the tank you should get an ajustable one unless you have a 5th generation Bushmaster, then you'd be OK with a preset. Some good high end systems are Conquest, Max Flow, Max Attack(these are very consistent and can run with a gas thru grip, as well as the Dynaflows, Hyperflows, Armageddons, etc. For screw in's I'd suggest something like a PMI tank, Crossfire and the ACI Bulldog are OK too.

I don't have any experience with various aftermarket regulators, but check out www.obdo.net in the upgrades section under regulators for some reviews and info.
