BKO Velocity issue

I am constantly struggling with my BKO to get it up to 280ft/sec. I am EXTREMELY nervous about blowing the solenoid….in the manual it says crank up the stock LPR until it leaks….LEAKS!? That makes "0" sense to me as you are overloading the o-ring on the solenoid to adjust the pressure, that's dumb……..so after blowing a solenoid already, I have added a new font block that adapts a Palmer LPR and a Torpedo HPR but I am still nervous. Here's what's happening: 1) I set the Torpedo so the pressure reads 200-210psi on the marker pressure gauge. Before I blow ANOTHER solenoid, does adjusting the LPR have anything to do with the velocity of the paintball on a BKO? As I understand it, the LPR is strictly for the function of the bolt and the LPR is strictly for the velocity of a paitball but somethin' still ain't right here. |
