BKO models?

I have heard that even a new BKO may have different parts. Such as they may have the older board that is capped at 10 bps etc. Does anyone know where I can get the newest model with the B2k board etc? in it or how I can tell which version it is? I have seen several different milling patterns on the BKO's as well. Do they have any significance in what model they are? Thank you very much!!!
