:Have you checked the valves are in correctly? If the bolt is moving forward sharply and returning to the open position it sounds like the LPR portion of your Defiant is working OK. The ram moves the bolt forward so it should be hitting the valve stem to open it. Was anything done to the Defiants right before this started? With the air off,remove the ram assembly and push in on the valve stem with a stick. It should open with just a little resistance from the valve spring.
