Yes you do need an adaptor. it is not normal 1/4" I just got a 15 degee adapto from Tantrum for 27.00 w/ out gauge port or like 3.00 more for the gauge port but most regs have there own gauge built in. I't looks sweet the 15 degree angle on it.. there are alot of other adaptor out there if you want a strait one.
