With a high performance reg like the Sidewinder you can set the air system pressure in the 500 or 600 psi range up to 750 psi or so and probably not notice any real difference. The main thing is to keep enough of a pressure differential between the tank and reg that you don't start to starve the gun and get shootdown. You can experiment with this at the chrono.
