: I shot about 2500-3000 rds of preset through my stock reg. I'm upgrading 2 a better n2 system, but I'm wondering should i replace the reg, even though my next system will be adjustable under 500psi. Thanks

::: Actually I would replace the stock inline reg and continue using the pre-set tank. It's less expensive and gives very good results if you choose a good reg.

A good pre-set air system will provide good flow and requires no regular maintenance like many of the adjustable systems do. I have a Nitro Duck Micro Reg 3,000 psi fixed system that served me very well for a couple of years; I now use a Max Attack and a Center Flag- both 4,500 psi adjustable systems. Thing is, the Micro Reg worked just fine-no shootdown, good consistency, especially with a good inline reg (as long as the LP reg is adjusted correctly).

I have used the AA Vigilante-a very good reg that you can find for sale at a good price if you shop around, and the Gladiator-a great reg in every way that costs more. I have seen Palmer's Stabilizer, the ANS in-line, and the WGP ergo-reg used on Bushies, and the owners said they worked fine.

Regards,

Superannuated
