: I am thinking about gettin a nitro but then i cam across the question, is Nitro dangerous??? Could it explode?? Is it more dangerous than C02??? Thanks

:
Well, it depends on what you are talking about. If your name is what you like to do, than you are thinking of Nitrous Oxide, which is HIGHLY flammable. Nitrogen, is not flammable, nor is CO2. Compressed nitrogen CAN explode, but is not likely, mostly b/c you have to hit the tank REALLY HARD with something sharp, then it will let the gases escape very quickly, and propelling the tank very fast, hopefully away from you and innocent bystanders. It will explode, but not with fire, even with it present. Nitrogen and CO2 are used in some welding and cutting applications, but they are used to keep the metals free of oxygen, so the weld does not oxidize (rust).
