Tom have you tried the new Shocker? Omg I love that gun...My wifey just told me she will not be putting out 1000 bux for my xmas present. I threatened to not put out either, but she just laughed... @ me or w/me???

OKAy the reply to the post already...

What brand slidecheck? Was it leaking from the slider or from the quickdisconnect? If the slider, from the front or back? Actually if it's from the Slider it doesn't matter front or back, but it' makes it easier to replace the specific oring.
If it;s the quickDisconnect then check inside at the oring in there, if there's no oring, there should be one and you lost it probably when they filled the bottle they popped it hard and it flew out. If you have any mag friends, the middle sized automag oring fits in there, and if they have a spare old one you can jam it right in there with the help of a hex key. If no spare, and the oring is still in there anyway, take it out carefully with a dental pick or something small and not too sharp, and flip it over. Lube it and try.
Okay, but it's pribably not the qd, so first try the lube up method. SO you can better figure this out I'll explain a slidecheck- it's a tube that has a block in the middle (never drilled all the way through) on the top of each side is a hole or three. The slider sits over the holes, and using an oring on each end of the slider it forms the chamber through which air passes between the holes. It's these orings which can get leaky, so you first try lubing them up to see if it helps the seal, if it doesn't you hav to replace the oring that is bad.
Depending on what brand you have, you may be able to replace them using a bottle oring. ACI's is a bottle oring, in any case you have to open it up and see.
Openign it up is a matter of locating the c-rings that are locking in the slider. Usually you'll have to first remove the quick disconnect cover. Use a dental pick or a picture hanging nail to jimmyjammy off the c-ring. Don't lose it. The trick is to get it pried up a little then pry up under it until it springs out of it's slot.
Now slide off the parts until you expose the orings. It may be a special one or it may be a bottle one, so try a bottle one. If it still leaks, you need to contact that particular company and have them send you a set of spares. Tell them you just got it a month ago and it's already leaking...
Hope that helps.
