I don't recall seeing anything like that in the manual from ICD, and they're pretty good about telling it like it is. I've not had any problems with using a screw in set at 800.
People at fields sometimes don't know wtf they're talking about, yesterday some kid told me not to clean my gun with water.
I said I don't see why not, since I'd cleaned my gun with water for years, and he said, okay it's your gun...
I think he'd never seen a non-electro before...
