: Hey i was wondering if i would have a problem running a 650 output tank through my 2002 wgp autococker Stock. would this give me shoot down? : would it give me less accuracy or range than if i were to use a 800 output tank.?? : thanks in advance. Bill, I too own a stock '02 autococker. I assume you are planning on using the stock WGP reg on the gun. I shoot an 800 output preset HPA, no problems. A friend of mine fime tuned my gun, and if I recall my stock reg is set around 450-500. So, your 650 output tank should in theory be fine. As far as accuracy and range; Range has more to do with what velocity you shoot. 280-285 works good, and obviously shoots farther than a velocity of 270. Accuracy has more to do with the quality of the paint you are using and the barrel. I find the stock barrel to work well, although loud. I personally use a freak, love it! I find keeping my velocity around 280-285 helps improve accuracy a bit. Why? I tried chronoing in once at like 298-299, as close as possible to 300. Balls shot a bit more irratic during flight, little more of an arc, and any imperfections with the paintball that would cause hooking or slicing were more dramatic. I then chronoed back to 285. Balls shot with a flatter trajectory and less irratic, result, better accuracy. I liken it to baseball. It is easier to throw a baseball consistently having a good old catch with dad than it is to try and fastball pitch every time. Hope this helps, Jason |
