: I just bought a brand new, Tippman A-5. I checked everything out then put a few balls in the hopper to fire some test shots. As soon as I screwed the CO2 tank in CO2 started spraying out of the barrel, so it's not the tank itself. Any ideas on how to fix this problem?

Before you screw in the CO2 tank, you need to pull back the cocking handle. Otherwise the hammer will hold the valve open, and CO2 will spray through the exhaust valve and out the barrel.

Read through the manual from cover to cover first - then proceede.
