I'm still going to get a secondary reg, but we fixed the problem. We pulled apart a friends reg, exact same. His had three shims in his shim stack, mine had 4. WE pulled my one extra shim out, gassed it up, plugged it into the gun, BINGO. Stable once, except of course for the natural inconsistancy of the paint. But, I'm still thinking a second reg would be in order, or a 20 dollar upgrade from PMI, they replace the internals of a reg and change my output to 500 psi. Not sure which I should do.
