: Yesterday I went out and played just like any other day at the paintball field and at about midday i went to go refill my tank which is a 68 ci co2 tank. The store and field's co-owner looked down at it for a couple of seconds and said to me "we dont want you filling this with co2 because it is carbon fiber wrapped and can collapse on you" and so it went on like that for a few minutes but he finally agreed to fill it and he then told me i should just upgrade to air instead of getting my other steel co2 tanks equipped with on/off valve and anti-siphone tubes because i dont want any liquid in my shocker's reg. I was wondering because that was the first time i have ever heard someone say that if this is true or not?
: Thanks.

You can fill CO2 in a wrapped tank. However, I can understand the reluctance of the store owner.
It's not overly spelled out in the regs.
