: Howdy ya'll! I've been playing paintball for the last 7 years, and am just now going to a remote line. I was wondering what a slide check was, what it did, all the technicaltricycle relating to it. If anyone can help me out it would be much appreciated.

It is like an on and off switch for your hose .The slide check vents the pressure from the gun before disconecting the hose so you don't have to keep turning the tank on and off .
