It really depends what you mean by "comparable" to a 20 oz. CO2. In terms of weight and size, a steel 47 ci tank is about the same size, but about half a pound heavier than a 20 oz. However, in terms of shot count, a 20 oz. will give far more shots/fill than the 47 ci HPA tank. On my Blazer, I get about 1500 shots out of a 20 oz. tank. With a 47 ci PMI tank, I only get about 4-500 shots/fill.

A rough figure for a 3000 psi tank is about 10 shots/ci, and about 15 shots/ci for a 4500 tank (assuming you play at fields that can fill that high).
