: Yes. The danger is oil in the tank with air being compressed to 3000/4500psi. As Warpig said, think how a diesel engine works. A diesel has a compression of 20/30 to 1 (which ignites the fuel), while a 3k tank is 200 to 1 and 4.5k 300 to 1.

When you put a oil in the fill nipple and then fill the tank, the oil is sprayed into the tank, just like a cylinder in an engine.
