the siphon is doing its job....it pulls GAS from the top of the tank and sends that to the valve... problem is when filling tanks for paintball you want a liquid fill when dealing with CO2... thus when you flip over the tank it is grabbing liquid and filling properly...

bottom line is - for filling CO2 paintball tanks you DONT want a siphon in the bulk tank.
