8-stage x-core expansion chamber

Ok, I got a problem. I know that a regulator helps with the CO2 problem, but my friend told me that the X-core expansion chamber is really good. Any opinions about it? And if so, is it better than the aci sub zero 6-stage x-pansion chamber or should I stay with the regulator?
