: I have a 50lb Bulk CO2 tank, and I am trying to fill CA tanks, but after about 4-6 ounces, it stops filling. I am chilling the CA tanks. I ordered a bulk "SIPHON" tank, but the tank does not have any markings, I am wondering if I got a regular bulk tank (without the siphon). Do you guys have any ideas on what could caus this? Should I suspect that the bulk tank does not have a siphon? Is there a way to tell if it has a siphon? Thanks!

Siphon tanks are supposed to be painted in 2 colors to be able to tell them from non-siphon.

When you crack the valve, does it act like a CO2 fire extinguiser (sipon) or does it just vent with some vapor? (non-siphon).

Tom
