Scuba Tank/Nitro Tank used for air tools

SO I have been looking around and no one seems to have asked this question. I have been in the market for some air tools and an air compressor. The problem is I don't have alot of room in the garage and don't want an air compressor sitting on the floor taking up space when I only need it every once in a while. Since I have a 114ci AA Raptor tank, I have been pondering the ability to set the pressure to 125psi and run a hose from the tank to an air tool such as an impact wrench, nail gun, or just a air nozzle to air out my car. Air compressors for air tools at your local HomeDepot run at 125 psi, and our tanks hold up to either 3000 or 4500psi. Does anyone see a flaw with this logic? |
