Field discipline broke down. It has been getting worse every year.

NO VISIBLE FIELD DISCIPLINE IS SEEN BY ANYONE!

There is NO EFFECTIVE DETERRENT for those inclined.

They can't hire enough refs to police 3200 players.

The Highway Patrol can't catch every speeder. Only a fraction but their VISIBLE presence slows down both lanes for miles AND you don't see many extreme speeders going by at 100 mph+. The highway patrol DETERS by being visible and making visible examples out of those they catch.

Why can't D Day?

There were more refs this year and they were working real hard to call the game. Give Dewayne some credit...

But of two instances I know where refs were involved, discipline was not visible to other players or didn't occur at all...

I like the "Cheater Corner" idea in every reinsertion station. It won't take too long for a ref to fine a wiper or hot gun. About 15 minutes after the start.. Put 3-4 guys in the taped off corner with the Cheaters Corner sign.

They get an X and have to stay there for an HOUR.

Then bring in a couple more in an hour to replace them.

That way EVERYBODY SEES that the rules are being enforced. Minimal effort and high visibility for deterence.

What do you guys think?
