There are steel fire extinguisher tanks available , another tank I am trying out is a 13 to 15 pound freon tank . The over pressure fitting is generally on the bottom and is nearly 3/4 inch already , grind it out and tap to 3/4 pipe thread and you'll have a reasonably small very light weight tank . A way to stiffen the assembly is to use a outer sleve of thin 3 or 4 inch pvc drain line (this that I aquired is a bit over 1/16 of an inch thick) . The whole assembly weighs 14 1/2 pounds nearly compleated .
