: : By the time you get the ports small enough to keep the O rings intact one has volume problems again. Which is why I designed my valve so the O-ring doesn't have to pass the port. I put the O ring in the end of my piston. Every time I shot the cannon, it blew the O ring out. So, I glued it in. Then, it still blew it out. So, I drilled my valve out to accept a 3/4" diameter by 3/4" long piece of rubber which I glued into place. Not only did it blow out, The pressure forced it through my 1/2" valve. (3 times).
