So you are still going to have to use a regulator, so why keep the pressure so high? All the paintball markers are going to low pressure for a reason. Consistency, no ball breakage. Most of the cannon guys are using lower and lower pressures. Tippmann's 203 shoots paint loads out of a short barrel, about 16". He drops the pressures to a couple hundred pounds and uses a small, 1/8-1/4" slide valve to release the air into the barrel. It is a measured charge. Very compact. You might want to look at his, or for a few hundred dollars, buy one. Got a warranty, too. Bill |
