As for as the pressure switches, I have used a pressure switch to turn a small automotive compressor on and off. They work within a range, and generally have a 20 or 30 psi range between on and off. The switch I purchased worked between 80 psig on and 100 psig off. It cost $15.00. I wired the battery to one set of contactors and the compressor to the other. As I fired the cannon and drew down the pressure in the main air reservoir, (16 gallon), to repressure the air reservoir on the cannon, it would turn on when the main reservoir reached 80 psi and turn off when it reached 100 psig.
