If it works to your satisfaction, then I think it's perfect. When I did mine, I used 1/4 npt fittings (.437 diameter hole). I found that my valve had a little trouble opening because there was a large hole in the diaphram left from when I removed the flow adjustment rod. I closed this hole off almost all the way. And that helped a bunch. So, if you want your valve to operate quicker, eather add more escape port, or close off some of the "bleeder" in the diaphram. |
