If you are at the MOUT site, you are on an active military installation, and by your entrance thereon, you have given the military police and the CID (Criminal Investigation Division) permission to search you, your vehicle, and your property for any reason, or for no reason at all. It would be a wise idea to leave anything that might be considered "contraband" back at your hotel. If you bring it on the site/installation, and get caught with it, the military and federal cops are somewhat more unpleasant than the local constabulary, and you can probably count on spending some time in an unpleasant place, with unpleasant people, for an unpleasantly long period of time.
