A very tired Arthur is surrounded by admiring but scared peasants. Arthur quick comforts his people and hears the tales of horror brought on by the evil Mordred. Little did Arthur know that leaving Mordred in charge of the kingdom during the crusades would result in Mordred falsely seizing the throne and declaring the great King dead. The countryside was filled with fear of the evil Mordred and his excesses that drained the necessities of life from these struggling people. Arthur proclaimed that the evil would be purged and this peaceful country restored. The people cheered and bowed before him. Arthur quickly promoted the fittest of the men to summon their good Knights so that the campaign might begin. He bade they meet him at Joyous Garde, Lancelot's castle, as quickly as they can proceed. More to come as the great clan of Knights and warriors gather under the flag of the true King of Englund; dead indeed! Mordred would soon wish he were dead. Arthur would personally see to that. The Arthur Tales to be continued...MTak
