A eaaaaaary calm across the land No trouble or contraversey is at hand No GI JOE who's stole your keys Or 'greedy'promoter your dollars will sieze Just a game or two that waits for you Just a game & with that 'what will you do?' Like a storm past or one to come It's all calm now like it's all over & done Do you look to the horizon & see dark clouds? & wait for the the moment to speak out loud? Or do you see the far off rise, & NOW start o'pining Or rather make hay while it's day & forget all the whining? Alot of our storm waters have passed under the bridge & some of those waters are still over the ridge Let's forget those and shore up those leaks Because it make for "holes' in our games & the future look bleak So many freinds & teams that are GREAT Are missing now,but Now is not to late With a new season coming of games galore Let's all excell & invite even more Lets have our games and despite all the past weather Let's see again a 'General' WhiteFeather Or day's of old let's bring em back I'd love to see ol Mother & Pac Or Goob & Spook & Jolly Ol' FX These people have done more than the captain of Star Trek----(no offesnse sir) Our game is evolving & growing so fast But our game is just memories without those who've made it last With liveleyhoods & schedules all on the line we can all make it work -"I believe it's time" From my earliest day's of the ol 'tip ,cock & shoot' we should give a trigger job to our egos & give them the boot It's time rise up with this quiet still & see the promise & have that will to calm the storms & to command the peace to venture to greatness, from greatness NOT cease.
