The tide is set, the commanders have drawn their Phaser's, and the battle will soon begin. Hunter's Moon, 26 hour scenario game hosted by Orbital Paintball, Tampa, FL., and directed by Thunder Scenarios, will be played Saturday-Sunday, October 30-31, 04. This is a bring your own paint event. This will be a Sci-fi thriller. Situation is as follows: The Triggers Led by "Duncan" (of Duncan's Games of Florida) are the inhabitants of Beacon 5. This small outpost planet mines an ingredient, used Galaxy wide, known as Butonium. This is the first and last place Butonium can be found. The dwellers from planet's Nocerantonia and Eternalithium have formed a treaty that has lasted a century or more. They live, fight, and die together. Now they are known as the Noc-Ternals, led by "Little Bird" (Donna Cardinal of Silent Storm - Venice, FL). Over the years they've enslaved countless worlds. These space thugs now have the planet Beacon-5 is in their sights. In the United Galaxy there are a number of races banded together, who provide help to all outsiders when called upon. The news of the Noc-Ternals quest has reached the Warlord Continuum, and they've dispatched an elite command of Peacekeepers, led by "Jammer" (of Team Hardball, South Florida, to oversee and help the inhabitants of Beacon-5. As the Peacekeepers emerge from hyper-space they are hit with a volley of torpedoes from the Noc-Ternal vessel orbiting the planet of Beacon 5. They are headed to the planets surface. At the same moment Beacon-5's munitions slam into the belly of the Noc-Ternal ship, sending it in a spiraling downward track as well. The Noc Ternals manage to retaliate with a counter strike and wipe out the planets HQ, Armory, Hospital, and Com Tower. All three now face survival, security, and supremacy. At the last moment before impact with the planet surface both ships received a message from home world indicating a possible presence of a _ _ _! in their ranks. So begins the recruiting and the smash mouth of who'll reign supreme at the end of this contest. Event Schedule includes a top gun tournament to kick things off on the 30th, 9AM -- 11AM, 12 Noon start, Dinner at 6PM, Followed by a costume contest, a paintball eating contest, (Rumor has it there will be strawberry scented and flavored paintballs). Also a Hottest tattoo contest. 8PM continuance with an ending on Sunday at 1PM Pre-registered players registered before Sept 30 will be in place for a marker give away.
