I didn't see an announcement about it anywhere here, so I'll post it here too (Posted it on the other forum too, but I want to make sure everyone gets a chance to see this...)

We're throwing an old-school event. Part big game, part 15 man tournament, part old school, all pumps only.

Who : Retroball (http://www.retroball.com/), sponsored by Airgun Designs, Paintball News, Pro Team Products and Skirmish USA.

What : Retroball is an "Old School" event at it's finest. A 15 man tournament, some open play, speedball, a big game and it's ALL pumps. No semi's allowed. (It's in rec-talk because it's not really a hardcore tournament, more like old school pump play...)

Where : Skirmish in Jim Thorpe, PA

When : September 24-26, 2004

Why : Because you know you wanna play paintball the way it used to be, before you needed to shoot a case at your opponent to get them. If you've never done it, or if you remember how it used to be, this event is for you.

How much? : pre-reg before May 31st and it's $100, which includes all weekend air (12 grams, CO2, or Nitro), event patches, PLUS a case of paint.

Details? Sure.

It's the first "pumps only" national tournament / event thrown in over a decade. If you don't have 15 people to make a whole team for the tournament, we will be putting teams together for you. We will also have a stock class "arena" format as well as open play games. Where else does your entry fee INCLUDE paint?

$50 down deposit will secure your entry fee. We're working right now on hotel rates as well as more "cool" stuff. More information can be found on the Retroball site : http://retroball.com, or by downloading the PDF Flyer from the Retroball site.

I'll be there, but I'm old school.

-Tyger
