I accept his challenge. Talk IS cheap. Actions speak louder. So does consumer's $DOLLARS. This IS America after all.

THAT is why I am helping to form a national organization of scenerio players FOR scenerio players. Free and without commercial ties.

An organization that could pre register 400 players to a single game just MIGHT be able to influence whether or not the Producer wants to OFFER BYOPaint at their scenerio games. Or burst modes, or discounts or whatever.

I think they just might want 400 registration fees and then be happy deal with the logistics of catching a dozen cheaters that didn't PAY the extra fee they would have to charge to keep the game profitable. I'd wager they wouldn't waste their prep time and salaries trying to figure out how catch them.

A national organization COULD influence a variety of issues even if you don't care about this particular one...

Right now the evolution of this sport is determined by just a few people and a few companies with business intersts that are much more important to them than the sport itself.

But you say HEY, I'm not interested the politics. WE just want to have FUN playing paintball.

A national organization of scenerio players would have to do that or it wouldn't survive past the first newsletter.

It would have to offer a way for other scenerio players to hook up with other local players.

It would have to offer a way for the more experienced players to show the newer players the ropes.

Players need to trade tips and tricks on a forum and through e mail. Share how to build a RPG, Tank, or Electro Magnetic Pulse Grenade just to take out only Cyborgs and not hurt humans.

Like paintball role playing? Not sure? Want to be a sniper, RPG anti tank, or demolitions specialist?

You don't know til you try and it would sure help if you knew someone with some experience doing it.
Maybe follow one around as supporting infantry and see how it is done and THEN give it a try.

Now THAT would be FUN!

It would be even MORE FUN if your local team hooked up with other local teams that hooked up with other AREA teams that have hooked up too and ALL of you show up at the SAME GAME on the SAME Side with a Experienced Command Structure that has been planning for weeks ahead.

Topo maps with field coordinates, radios, experienced role players and weapons specialists equipped with the latest developments in 'special weaponry'.

Starting to sound like FUN Yet?

So while you are HAVING FUN and meeting other paintball players those 'interested' in politics can IF the membership WANTS it.

A thousand players in a regional area that can field 400 players for a local game could be a force to be respected on and off the field.

AFTER we have 400 hundred players pre registering for a game or two then things can improve.

We could just send the producers and field owners an email. Per our memberships vote, we have been asked to survey and publish:

Which scenerio games will offer BYOPaint Games next year.

What discount can you give our membership if we can pre register 400 of our members FOR YOU to attend ONE of your games? Thank you in advance for your support. Simple as that.

If you like or want to start playing scenerio games, consider joining our organization.
