Since Mudgut's computer is still down, and as the XO at the Grand Finale... I would like to thank everyone on both sides of the field for a great game. Most of the play I saw and heard about was clean and up & up - It made for a great game. Thanks to the ref staff and the Lords of Discipline (the Ref team from Canada) that came down to help out; it was good to see you guys again! You all did a great job. Thanks especially goes out to all those who ran hard... sure wish everyone could have gotten an award. You ALL deserve one. Thanks to all those who assassinated me - I am glad that I wasn't the General - too bad guys! And, thanks to Dutch - it is always a pleasure. I knew something was different this year when we pulled into Wayne's early on Friday - I have Never seen that many people there so early. Needless to say the new attendance record smashed the old one, and considering that there were so... many players there, I was surprised that everything moved as smoothly as it did. Man, you should have seen that Final Battle! I still can not believe how big the prize package was; Some 12 large tables stacked 3 foot high with stuff. It took like 3 hours to give all that stuff away! I stopped counting the guns at 100, and they were still given them away! I hope you all had a great time it was an honor for Mudguts, Hankey and The Moles to serve and play with you all at the 2003 Grand Finale - Can't wait to see you all on the field next year!
