A paintball tank has a regulator built into it. A big part of the expense. It steps it down to useable and safe pressures for any marker made.

That is why the Thread is the SAME.

There are two kinds "Preset" The output is fixed at the factory. They have High Pressure 850 psi and Low Pressure 400 psi Presets. More or less on those pressures.

The others have adjustable pressure regulators. They are actually TWO regulators. A Preset and then an adjustable one that works in the range of standard markers. Lp to Hp. They tend to be very expensive.
